CONGRATULATIONS to you on this most important decision, we pray your marriage is joyous and fulfilling. Our Church is honored to assist you in planning a sacred and meaningful wedding service in a tasteful and appropriate way. This page is prepared to ensure that the arrangements made for the service fit with the procedures and facilities of Leland Community United Methodist Church.

The minister is not interested in doing just marriage ceremonies, he is interested in the both of you as individuals created equally by God, thus he will want to get to know the both of you better before the service is performed. This will be accomplished by meeting with you a few times to answer questions that you have, discuss the arrangement of the service, discuss your relationship and get to know you a little better. A minimum of two sessions is required usually lasting 1 1/2 - 2 hours each.
